Mohammed Iqbal Banegar, a man of vision, farsighted, ambitious and enterprising migrated from southern Mumbai to Mira road in 1972 to flourish his dreams in new environment and new atmosphere. A commerce graduate was originally engaged in the business of engineering gave up his family business and entered in the field of construction in the said new developing locality of Mira road. His enthusiasm and hard working disposition paved way for his success in the new field of construction where nearly 31 buildings have taken shape of reality by his hands. His inner soul was determined to do something constructive for downtrodden section of the society and community thus "Mohammed Hussain Banegar Educational Trust" was founded in 1996 to render services in the field of education and social work. After a small span of time he and his brothers along with some educationist and philanthropists founded "Banegar English School" to cater the educational needs of the children coming from the middle income group and low strata of the society. Further he also Founded "Hafiza Banegar Junior College of Arts, Science and Commerce". He was a paragon who predominantly handled all the activities of the trust.
